Australia’s Vessels began as a solo project of singer/songwriter Tom Davies, channeling the best of modern, retro-tinged rock n’ roll. Rollicking around with garage rock energy and sweet, 60’s melodies, the single is a perfect, under-two-minute bop that shakes and shimmies and carries the aura of ‘cool’ that bands like The Hives, The Strokes and The White Stripes did when they first hit the scene in the early 2000’s.
Appropriately, the video for the track focuses solely on Davies performing the track alone, in both a gymnasium (guitar in hand), and in various locations throughout the city, dressed in style with shades to match. It captures the vibe of the track perfectly, almost because of its simplicity.
