I mentioned a few weeks back that I would have some big news involving Vance Joy to announce and today I’m happy to finally reveal it. As part of my day job at new media production company The Young Astronauts, I helped write and develop a treatment for “Saturday Sun” on my first day on the job. Cut to a bit more than a month later, and we were on set filming the video, and today it finally premieres for all to see.
James and his team were great to work with, and aside from a cold wind on the beach, the video was filmed within a single day without any problems. “Saturday Sun” is my favorite song off the latest album Nation of Two, so it was a pleasure to be part of the team that brought the song to visual life (The Young Astronauts directed, edited and oversaw all post on the video).
