To some, the idea of melding electronic dance music and pop punk may seem like an affront to nature, or a form of heresy. With “Why Are We So Broken”, Steve Aoki proves them all wrong.
From his Neon Future III album, the collaboration with blink-182 was one of the stand-out tracks on the album, so it’s great to see the music video made. Featuring Aoki jamming with blink in a warehouse while two romantically involved teens take sledgehammers to a variety of colorful objects outside; the video is a fun and fitting visual to accompany the song.
