It’s no secret that going on tour can be lonely for bands, and the newest song by Irish rock group, Kodaline, was written with this very idea in mind. “It’s a song about missing our loved ones when we are away on tour so it’s really close to our hearts.”
The music video, however, takes it beyond themes of missing those who are still with you while you are traveling. The video beautifully captures themes of love and loss – the pain and journey of moving on after having experienced the loss of a loved one. I was in tears by the end of it, and I applaud the emotion captured by actress, Teresa Oman, in this beautiful presentation of such a journey.
