I can’t understand anyone not loving dogs. They are sweet, loyal and some of the best friends you can have. Singer-songwriter Robby Hecht seems to agree, and does a wonderful job conveying the love we get from these fuzzy friends in his new video for “Someone to Dance With”.
While the somber, folky tune is a touching look at loneliness, and the fear of being the one left out and left alone, Hecht replaces the longing for a human lover with that of a dog. Placing himself in a dog park, watching owners enjoy their time with their dogs, Hecht longingly watches the happiness brought out by the pups, while remembering a close furry friend he lost.
While the video has a happy ending, it’s definitely a tearjerker that will make you want to hug your pet. Watch the video above and stream the track here.
