You’ve never heard AC/DC like this. The beloved Australian power rockers are known for crunchy guitar riffs, smashing drums and wailing vocals. But in the hands of famed pianist and producer Tommee Profitt and William Joseph, the electric track “Thunderstruck” takes on a new cinematic scope.
More fitting for the film score of an action film than a rock album, Profitt and Joseph’s take on the classic is no less dramatic and engaging, and to match the energy of the song, the duo have filmed a video that turns the piano “duel” into an underground battle. Filmed in a large warehouse with an audience hungry for cinematic rock surrounding them, Profitt and Joseph play as a large Tesla coil in the center oft he room threatens to leave either of them “thunderstruck” (okay, maybe more like “lightning struck”).
